Tomato "Karelia"
Tomato "Karelia".
An excellent choice for fresh summer vitamin salads!
Mid-season salad variety for growing in open ground and film greenhouses. Harvesting of the first products begins 95-100 days after germination.
The variety successfully combines large-fruited and early ripening. Determinate, compact plants suitable for open ground. In a greenhouse, their height is about 1 m, the yield reaches 8-11 kg/m2. Each bunch produces 3-5 tomatoes. The fruits are multi-chambered, with thin skin, very tasty, with an average weight of 160-180 g. Thanks to the early harvest, the variety is not subject to late blight.
Agrotechnics.
In the phase of 1-2 true leaves, the seedlings dive. Plants form 1 or 2 stems. They do not plant stepsons in open ground. When grown in a greenhouse, all stepsons are promptly removed (when they reach a length of no more than 3-5 cm) up to the first cluster. It is necessary to remove the lower leaves when the fruits in the second cluster ripen.
